![]() Principle 4: Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and to someone I trust. "Happy are the pure in heart." -Matthew 5:8 Step 4: We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. "Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord." -Lamentations 3:40 Our mind, body, family, and church. This week we will look at these four aspects of our spiritual inventories. Our recovery from life's hurts, habits, and hangups hinge upon these four aspects: guarding our minds, realizing our body belongs to God, caring about/for our family, and strong church fellowship. Joshua made a bold statement regarding his household in Joshua 24:15, "If you are unwilling to obey the Lord, then decide today whom you will obey... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Remember to keep your inventories balanced, listing both strengths and weaknesses. Find an accountability partner and sponsor. Do not try to travel the recovery journey alone. Even Jesus surrounded himself with a handful men! God bless you as you courageously face and own your past! He will see you through!!!
