PRINCIPLE 5: Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.
"Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires." (Matthew 5:6)
"I Am sent me." This is the name God told Moses to reference when Moses spoke to the Israelites in Exodus 3:14. Notice God did not say "my name is 'I was.'" Neither did God say "My name is 'I will be.'" God said "I Am who I Am." God gives us an excellent pattern for life in this simple exchange with Moses. God is saying to us; you don't have to live in the past with its mistakes and regrets. God says you don't have to live in the future with its doubts, fears, and unknown problems. God says live in today, in this moment, one day at a time. God says "I Am." When we do just that, life is not nearly so hard.
God began a good work in me when I turned my life over to Him. He is faithful to carry on that good work if I am faithful to Him. " And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day Christ Jesus returns." (Philippians 1:6)
